The AAUW Flagler Local Scholarship Fund, Inc.

The AAUW Flagler Local Scholarship Fund, Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to advancing equity and opportunity for women and girls.

Scholarships are funded through donations and fund-raising events.

All proceeds received go to the Fund.         

Scholarships are awarded annually to Flagler County High School Students accepted to colleges and universities throughout the United States.

The Fund offers grants to middle school girls pursuing arts education and supports Tech Trek STEM camp.

The Fund also offers scholarship opportunities to continuing education students. 

Through an annual donation to the Flagler County Education Foundation the Fund supports the Take Stock in Children program.

Terry Zitnay was a long-time member of the Flagler Branch who left an unexpected and most generous bequest to the AAUW Flagler Local Scholarship Fund (501c3).   The generosity of this gift will enable the branch to continue and expand our scholarship activities for many years to come.
